The pour
& the pause

Embossed Second Pour wordmark with a green brush stroke

The first cup is for waking up. The second is the one you actually taste.

That’s the whole idea. Most mornings the first cup happens on the move. The second one is different: you sit down, you pour slowly, you notice the jasmine or the umami. We make things for that cup.

So the menu is short on purpose. One ceremonial matcha, stone-ground, from Uji in Kyoto. One washed coffee from Yirgacheffe. And the two together, for people who want both moods in the cupboard.

Reading the bag

One gesture.
One quiet label.

  1. AThe wordmarkCondensed, embossed into the charcoal. The U drops below the line, like a pour.
  2. BThe brush strokeOne green swipe, the movement of a matcha whisk, under 抹茶 & 珈琲: matcha and coffee.
  3. CThe labelRuled like a data sheet. Green for matcha, cream for coffee. Notes, origin, process, weight.
  4. DThe sliderThe brewing guide. On this site it actually moves: try it on any product page.

Sit down.
It’s worth it.
